Chapter 1: Diagon Alley

"Come on Harry, keep moving... we have been here so many times. We just gotta buy your books and let's get over with this. Prongs promised me a treat in Hogsmeade." Sirius was getting impatient." Oh shut it Sirius. Let the little boy enjoy. He's got many things to buy. Follow me Harry...Mommy's got a little surprise for you." Lily then whispers to James- I hope you didn't tell him about the pet right?

Harry was so excited as he loved surprises. He kept getting constant surprises or presents as there were so many friends and relatives of his parents who kept coming over. His two best friends Lucas Black and Sarah Lupin had also gotten their Hogwarts letters and were going to meet him at the pet shop. " Hiya Harry!" "Hey Luke! Hey Sar! Sorry I made you wait so long. Got held back cause of my robes. Hey Uncle Remus. Hi Aunt Dora! My dad and uncle Sirius will be here any minute ." Mr. and Mrs. Lupin had agreed to look after Lucas and Sarah while the others went to buy Harry's books and robes. " Me and Sar' have already decided that we will be buying an owl. What bout you Harry?" Well as James and Lily had already bought an owl for Harry they were all even. It was a beautiful white snowy owl named Hedwig.

In Hogsmeade they were joined by Sirius' wife Penelope Hart - Black. They all went to Honeydukes as they could enjoy some treats after their long tiring day. “Ooh... Mom look I got an Albus Dumbledore card." “Lucas dear it's Professor Dumbledore. He will be your headmaster this year and I hope it will be the same for your entire time at Hogwarts. Sirius Honey, please pass me my glass. The three kids were all looking forward to meeting their new headmaster and going to their new school.

Chapter 2: Aboard the Hogwarts Express

September 1st. Today was gonna be Harry's first day at Hogwarts. His parents had never told him how to reach the Hogwarts Express. Harry, Sarah and Lucas were all waiting to know how to get to the enchanted platform where the magnificent train would be standing waiting for their arrival. The three of them were left alone by their parents. The adults had set up a set of riddles for them to solve to reach the platform. They all set out to find the first clue. Soon harry noticed a scrap of paper between his trolley. He grabbed for it and called Sarah and Lucas too. They read it together:

Look what the wise old tree's trunk has got for you!

The wise old tree's trunk?? What's that?? All three of them were confused. Then Sarah, being the smart one she is, remembered that just that morning aunt lily had called Lucas a wise old tree and nobody understood that. But now it made sense. Lucas' trunk!! They quickly opened it and found two tickets to platform 9 and 3/4 along with another scrap. It read:

What's between 8 and 10, you may think 9, But what's between 9 and 10, you may think why?

They all thought, platform 9 and 3/4?? That's weird... They had never heard of it. Then they walked to platform 9 and then to platform 10. There was nothing else in between. Then suddenly something shiny caught Lucas' eye. He walked towards platform 10 and picked it up. It was the third train ticket! And there was something with it. It said :

Walk through!!!

None of them understood. They were supposed to walk through the wall?? That made no sense whatsoever. Then they saw a boy with blonde, greasy hair and he looked neat and seemed to come from a rich family. He was with his mother. His father just walked up to the wall on platform 10 and walked right at it. Voila! He was gone.

The trio were surprised. Maybe that's what they were supposed to do. Then Harry gathering his strength walked to the boy and introduced himself. The boy replied " Hi! I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy " Harry immediately stepped back. He had heard of the Malfoys. They were one of the core families in Voldemort's circle before he was defeated by the order of the Phoenix which included the potters, the blacks, the lupins, the weasleys, the longbottoms and many other families who were fighting against evil. The malfoys and the potters were known to be sworn enemies. "Is there a problem?" Draco said, breaking into Harry's thoughts. Then Harry, putting behind all the past memories, stepped in front again and shook Draco's outstretched hand. " I'm Harry!",he said, careful not to reveal his last name." Nice to meet you! Would you mind telling me and my friends there how to board the platform. We know that we should walk through but well... We have never done it before so..." " I get it, this is my first year too.We can do it together if u want but on one condition - you and your friends have to sit with me on the train. Deal?" "I was gonna ask you anyway"

And with that Harry, Sarah, Lucas and Draco walked into the enchanted platform together and waited for what was gonna happen next. Little did Harry know that this might lead to the union of two families that were ultimate rivals.
